Psychedelic Sunday, the Preamble

While the '60's may be remembered as a drug-induced bacchanalia, there were great artists performing great songs that had nothing to do with turning on, tuning in or dropping out. Below are five of them. Some came from the '50's. Other's, the early to mid '60's. In our humble opinion, these five voices are the epitome of early Rock & Roll, and remain unsurpassed to this day.

But who was the Best of the Best.

And so, dear readers, We are asking you to vote for the best male vocalist of the '60's out of the five artists featured below.

Who, in your opinion, was the Best,

Dion

Jay Black

Bobby Hatfield

Roy Orbison

Elvis Presley, The King

Next Sunday we'll tell you who d voted for, magster has made her pick. Now let's hear from you.
