Liberals Are Like Hitler????

Soooo, tell me Boker Tov, do you believe this also....

Yeah. Right.

Boker tov, Boulder! Slams Mod, deuddersun

Every now and then I do an internet search on myself. Call it vanity, I am just curious about the extent of my "reach". So this morning I hit on Technorati and lo and behold, there was Mod's face smiling at me from amongst the links. It seems a piece Mod had posted regarding AIPAC has upset a fellow blogger at Boker tov, Boulder!

Here is what he has to say about Mod:

"I don't know how I came across this, but I wish I hadn't. Anyway, just so you'll know, there's this blogger called "Moderate Man" and though his site sports many links to animal welfare organizations (ASPCA, Animal Art, Humane Society, Nature Conservancy, etc.), he doesn't seem to like Jews much."

Further down, he offers his opinion of your's truly:
I know what you're thinking, that he's not really very "moderate" after all. But wait. The lone commenter on this post is even less moderate. He ("deuddersun") writes "Nah, AIPAC is a friendly, overt, fun-loving, Brotherhood seeking only "fair & balanced" portrayals of Israel and the never-ending love, financial and military support and unquestioning loyalty of ALL Americans ALL the time! F-ck these assholes! Wanna think I'm anti-semetic? Go right ahead. I no longer care. d. I guess d. did "care" at one time. But he no longer does. care. for Jews. It's pretty weird to come across these people and their unabashed hostility. I wonder how they feel about Jimmy Carter. (I'm not asking... just wondering.)"

Now I'm pretty thick skinned so I really don't care what this likudnik thinks of me. I post this as an example of what I have often said, the assumption, by some, that if you are against the policies of the Government of Israel you must be anti-semetic. I stand by my comment. If you want to think I'm anti-semetic, knock yourself out, I don't care. Calling someone anti-semetic because they oppose Israel's policies is like saying we are all anti-American because we oppose the Bush Administration.

The point Mod, myself and other's have tried to make is that we only want our elected servants to have America's best interests at heart and that Israel must take a backseat to our own National concerns. A man can't serve two masters and I don't want someone in Washington who is supposed to be representing me kowtowing to any foreign power!

I look forward to some lively debate on this. Had Boker bothered to inform us of his post, we might have had this discussion a while ago. To read the post in it's entirety and my response, go to Boker tov, Boulder! To read the piece in question in it's entirety, go here.

I wonder if Boker ever read "A Clean Break: A New Strategy For Securing The Realm",

R & R

Got a call to jump in on a television show entitled Canterbury's Law. TV is always grueling and I did a weeks worth of work in two days so I'm ready for a little R & R this weekend. Time to chill with damagster.

It looks like a great show. Watch for it.

In the meantime, I plan to journey back to the '60's tonite. Join me if you like. Turn off your lights and turn on that old lava lamp. Light some candles and incense. Roll a fattie or pack a bowl and snuggle up with your beloved - and enjoy.

See you there!

deudderupdate

Good morning! It's 0400 hours and I thought I'd grab a few minutes to say "Hey" before I hit the shower and head for Fantasy Land again this morning.

So far, the job is going very well on our end, although the hours are brutal. I am sorry I haven't answered anyone's comments, but I promise to do so as soon as my machine at home (Philly), is back online. Seems I really messed it up this time and I may have to reload all my original programs in order to rectify it, sigh. Hell, the machine is 7 years old and doesn't owe me a thing. Any Mac users out there? I 'm thinking of switching.

As I mentioned, the job is going well on our end, however, I am sad to report to Spadoman that Craft Service is dismal, the worst of any I've ever experienced. Now, as Spadoman and I have indicated before, Craft Service is a prime indicator of Production's commitment to the Crew and, overall, to the production itself, and these folks are tripping over quarters to pick up nickels - more on that later. Suffice it to say that their shortsightedness will undoubtedly cost them big time down the road as things develop. I'm not talking about shitty attitudes here, our Crew is way too professional for that, I'm talking about foolish decisions that will cost big bucks when shooting begins. Well, that seems to be the new Business Norm in Bush's America - try to accomplish too much with too little too late, then play catch-up.

Speaking of Bush, I am happy to see that the Second American Revolution is alive and well. I received an e-mail from Spadoman regarding a petition to Congress to fillibuster against the War. Interesting concept. I signed on because I am willing to try anything that may bring an end to the Fiasco in Iraq and prevent an even greater calamity in Iran. I've checked both of Spado's blogs and it isn't up there, so I an posting the link here.

http://filibusterforpeace.org/index.html

Other than that, not much to say at the moment. Gotta hit the shower. Have fun, enjoy life, love each other, work for Peace.

UPDATE!

Well, it looks like I called it on the Craft Service, this morning we all got fired! Seriously. The job shut down for a "few weeks" while they "re-think" the "project.

Well, time will tell. In the meantime it's back in the pond! Wish me luck!

More From VoteVets

Dear VoteVets.org Supporter,

Silence.

That is what worries me. With every passing day that the administration won't talk to Iran, we come closer to an Iranian nuclear weapon, and the time at which the decision must be made whether or not the administration will use its military option.

In today's video blog, Jon Soltz, chairman of VoteVets.org, and I discuss the serious consequences of using military force against Iran˜the impact on our men and women in uniform, U.S. influence in the region, and stability of the Middle East.

Watch the video blog today!

Then forward this message to everyone you know. Encourage them to sign our petition to George W. Bush to stop war with Iran today!

If you haven't already, please click here and sign the petition to George W. Bush. Help us stop war with Iran today!

The Bush Administration may refuse to have direct talks with Iran, but we cannot remain silent.

An attack on Iran will put additional strain on our already overextended military. It could well affect the United States' ability to extricate our forces from Iraq, as our troops will likely face even more attacks on the ground. And, there will be potential for hostilities on American embassies abroad, a hike in oil prices, and an increased likelihood of terrorist attacks wherever Hizballah has active cells. You just don't know, and quite frankly, I don't want us to find out.

I need you to stand with us today.

Be sure to watch our latest video blog.

Your efforts are having an impact. With nearly 30,000 people signing our petition, the media is starting to pay attention. Democratic leaders in Washington are starting to act. But we can't rest now. We cannot remain silent.

Thank you for your efforts.

Sincerely,

Wes Clark

On another note:

It's my favorite day of the week - payday! Then home tomorrow. Still haven't straightened out my computer at home but I'll try again this weekend.

Till then -

Six Bullets From Now

Had an opportunity to jump online and say hey to everybody. It's now 2234 hours, (10:34 pm for all you civilian types). My buddy Bob had to run back down to Philly this evening so I caught a chance to get online and say wassup?

I hope everybody is doing well and staying happy and healthy. I noticed mebrudder, scroff posted a little update along with a video which I can neither view nor hear on this machine. I guess it's time I broke down and got a laptop, sigh. My buddy, Bob, who is a kind of McGiver, rigged this baby up from parts of discarded machines he found at various times on the street, so while it works fine, it doesn't have the horsepower to play YouTube and it doesn't have speakers. It really doesn't matter since I'll hear it at some point and since scroff signed off on it you can't blame me!

So, good friends, I'm off to bed. Reville is at 0430 hours, (4:30 am ) and I need mny beauty rest. Oh yeah, the name of the picture I'm working on is "Six Bullets From Now", starring Robert Downey, Jr. That's all I know so far, and I'm having a blast and making a pile, but I do miss you guys. I'll try to fix my machine in Philly this weekend and give you more of an update.

Till then...

Pax Tibi

You can add whatever you want to the blog, I am on my bud's machine at the moment and I don't want to keep him off it. If I can get back online this weekend I will hook you up,otherwise, feel free to add whatever you want.

So, since I can out up whatever I want... I forthwith offer this...

Well, to quote the great 'Simpsons' _ 'Heh-Heh.'

5 Grammys Mark Dixie Chicks' Comeback

By NEKESA MUMBI MOODY, AP Music Writer

The Dixie Chicks from left, Martie Maguire, Natalie Maines, and Emily Robison, accept the award for best country album for "Taking the Long Way" at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. (AP Photo/Mark J. Terrill)

LOS ANGELES - "The Dixie Chicks completed a defiant comeback on Sunday night, capturing five Grammy awards after being shunned by the country music establishment over the group's anti-Bush comments leading up to the Iraq invasion."

Ain't it grand!

Just goes to show, ya can't keep a good woman down, much less three great women!

You go Chicks!

Here's one of
my favorite Chicks videos. It's loosely based on the brother of one of my best friends and involves murder and the Philly mob. But that's another story for another day.

Enjoy!
